Pre-season Review: Arsenal 3-1 Manchester City (Money CANNOT buy “CLASS”)

Yes folks, the Gunners have proved once again that money is not the only way to succeed in football as they beat this summers highest spenders without spending a single penny by 3 goals to 1.
We got off to a slow start but as the game progressed we started to dictate the game and took advantage of all the chances that came our way. Theo Walcott started the scoring in the 10th minute when he superbly finished Ramsey’s through ball by cutting in from the left wing. In the second half, we scored a couple of back to back goals thanks to Ramsey & Giroud’s excellent finishing abilities. At the end, Man City managed to score a consolation goal thanks to Negredo’s strike in the last 20 minutes of the match. The match ended 3-1 to the Arsenal.
So, with that win we have concluded this years pre-season campaign with 5 wins, a draw and a loss. Giroud was the highest scorer with 8 goals in 7 games which is a very good news for us as his goals will be very vital for us this season.
Now, we have to get ready for the real job in hand and that’s to start the league campaign on a positive note against Aston Villa next weekend. Come on you Gunners…
